ActiVote’s June 29, 2026 Generic Congressional Ballot poll finds that the Democrats lead the Republicans by 5.2%. The poll was in the field between June 6 and June 28 (median field date of June 17). The poll was among 1000 likely midterm voters and has an average expected error of 3.1%.

The Republicans lead among rural voters, older voters (50+), men, registered Republicans, White voters, those with a graduate degree and the (moderate) right. Democrats lead or tie among all other groups.

The left and moderate left are virtually unanimously (97%) supporting the Democrats, while the same is true for the right (97%) in their support for Republicans. The support for Republicans from the moderate right is at a slightly lower level (89%), while the Democrats have an 8% lead among centrists.
