State-Level Pennsylvania Races Are Close Call
ActiVote’s October 26, 2024 Pennsylvania state-wide polls finds that the Republican incumbent lead in the Auditor General and Treasurer races, while the Democratic candidate leads in the Attorney General race.
The polls were in the field between October 4 and October 25 (median field date of October 15). The polls were among 400 likely presidential election voters and have an average expected error of 4.9%.
Overview
The Auditor General (DeFoor) and Treasurer (Garrity) are Republican incumbents. For previous polls of these races, see our polls of October 8 and our polls of August 23.
Please note that in each of these polls the threshold for inclusion in the crosstabs for the unweighted sample for Latino voters (5%) was not met, so that they are not separately reported in the crosstabs. They are part of the weighted overall result. For details on reporting in our crosstabs see answer 4 of our polling disclosures.
The Political Spectrum crosstabs below show the support for the candidates among left, moderate left, center, moderate right, and right voters. These groups are defined by splitting the national electorate in 5 equal sized groups of 20% each. Please note that in the swing state of Pennsylvania, the distribution over these categories is not exactly equal to the national average.
