Republicans Improve in State-Level Pennsylvania Races

October 8, 2024

ActiVote’s October 8, 2024 Pennsylvania state-wide polls finds that Republicans lead in the Auditor General and Treasurer races, while the Democratic candidate has a minimal lead in the Attorney General race.

The polls were in the field between September 6 and October 7 (median field date of September 22). The polls were among 400 likely presidential election voters and have an average expected error of 4.9%.

Overview

The Auditor General (DeFoor) and Treasurer (Garrity) are Republican incumbents who lead in these polls, reversing our findings of the polls of August 23.

Please note that in each of these polls the threshold for inclusion in the crosstabs for the unweighted sample for Latino voters (5%) was not met, so that they are not separately reported in the crosstabs.
