North Carolina Statewide Elections are a Mixed Bag
ActiVote’s September 23, 2024 North Carolina statewide polls finds that Democrats lead in 7 races, Republicans lead in 5 races and one race is tied. The average lead in these 13 races is just 3.0%
The polls were in the field between August 20 and September 22 (median field date of September 6). The polls were among 400 likely presidential election voters and have an average expected error of 4.9%.
Overview
The Political Spectrum tables and graphs show the support for the candidates among left, moderate left, center, moderate right, and right voters. These groups are defined by splitting the national electorate in 5 equal sized groups of 20% each. Please note that in the swing state of North Carolina, the distribution over these categories is not exactly equal to the national average.
