Trump’s Approval Edges Up
ActiVote’s July 2, 2026 presidential approval poll finds that President Trump’s approval rating is at 40.5%, while his disapproval rating is at 55.2% yielding a net disapproval of 14.7%.
A total of 478 ActiVote users weighed in on Trump’s approval between June 1 and June 30. They rated Trump on a 5-star rating, which is then converted into standard “approval” and “disapproval” percentages.
June’s numbers are a continued rebound from April’s which were the lowest of his second term and lower than the average approval during Trump’s first presidency (41.0%).
The groups with a net positive approval rating are rural, older (65+), Republicans and those with some college.
If we look at the left-to-right spectrum, Trump’s disapproval on the left and moderate left is nearly unanimous (95%). The support on the right and moderate right continues to be around 80% (79% this month), while it was over 90% in 2025. The centrists are reflective of the national mood at -15%.
