Trump's Net Approval down to 1%
ActiVote’s March 2, 2025 presidential approval poll finds that President Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 49.5%, just above his disapproval rating of 48.8%.
A total of 1760 ActiVote users weighed in on Trump’s approval between February 1 and February 28. They rated Trump on a 5-star rating, which is then converted into standard “approval” and “disapproval” percentages.
These first full month’s numbers are still significantly better than his average over the 48 months of his first presidency, which averaged to about 41% approval.
The groups with a net negative approval rating are (sub)urbanites, younger voters (18-49), women, Democrats, Blacks, Latinos, low and middle income voters and college educated voters.
If we look at the left-to-right spectrum, Trump gains almost as much approval from the (moderate) right with 93%, as he gets disapproval from the (moderate) left with 95%. The crucial group of centrists lean towards approval with a net approval rating of +12%..
