Unrig the System 2019

Victor and I just got back from the Unrig the System conference in Nashville TN.  It was an amazing non-partisan event with experts and activists from across the political spectrum and from across the country. We learned about what conservatives and liberals alike believe needs to be changed in our system and were inspired by the work being done across the nation to improve our democracy. We heard from members of Congress, state Secretaries of States and activists about their individual efforts to help in this cause. Jennifer Lawrence was the moderator for a few key session and most importantly gave out awards for amazing community activists such as the Badass Grandmas from North Dakota, Katie Fahey from Michigan who ended gerrymandering and Desmond Meade from Florida who helps 1.4M citizens get back the right to vote. We enjoyed the Ranked Choice Voting seminars and are excited to see our amazing animation play a role in helping these groups in their request for election reform.
